Lucas had his Kindergarten music program last Wednesday, and he did so awesome at it!
They sang lots of songs, but my favorites were Blue Suede Shoes and One Eyed Purple People Eater--they were a crack up to watch! Lucas got very into the coordinating movements! He would be singing, then he'd just stop and sort of look around and then suddenly he'd remember what he should be doing. It was pretty cute! Even Henry, Olivia, and Josh were dancing in the aisle. The songs were so catchy that you couldn't blame them!
The best thing about it was just seeing him on the stage. He was absolutely beaming from the moment he got up on there! He was so, so proud to have all of his favorite people watching him. He just kept waving at us! It was great!
When the concert was over Grandpa John went to get Lucas and tell him how good he did. Lucas showed him his classroom and where he sits. I just love seeing those two together!
It was a good program. Definitely a fun one!
