His 3rd Birthday Party

Two weekends ago, Josh Oliver had a birthday party.

We had all sorts of candy shop treats.

There were homemade oreos, grilled pound cake peanut butter sandwiches, jelly beans (with a few surprise jalapeno flavored ones thrown in!), cream soda, root beer floats, and macaroni pizza--of course!

Josh also happened to be the last guest to arrive so we turned it into a spur of the moment surprise party and yelled surprise as he walked in the door! He already knew about his party, but he loved it!

As we all sang "Happy Birthday" to him, he stood as still and stone-faced as I think he possibly could. It was strange, but when we got to the end he did an awesome job of blowing out his candles! One big breath was all it took!

I think the highlight of his birthday was all of the snacks that he got. He got root beer and Dr. Pepper, jelly beans, marshmallows, a couple different kinds of Keebler cookies, candy bars, Crunch 'n Munch. It was absolute heaven for him!

Jonker boys love to get food as presents!

I also made him a watch for his birthday. He looked like a stud wearing it! Plus he got a ton of new clothes and some pretty fun toys and books.

It was a good time!

This is a video from his party. Olivia and Eli crack me up in this!
